About Jayne

A unique mix of Brand & Retail Strategy with Direct, Digital and Data roots.

I’m a proud generalist marketer, selling product, services and creating behavioral change for the last two decades.

Equally comfortable working on everything from multi-million dollar brand campaigns, driving earned media with PR and social, handling a crisis, or optimizing website copy and digital media. With great ideas at the heart of everything I do.

My career spans leading agencies and multi-national brands in the UK, Australia and the U.S. Having targeted audiences in all these markets – I understand the nuances of these cultures and the media.

My story.

Loyalty programs were the theme of my early career, working on Europe’s most complex including Tesco Clubcard, T-Mobile & O2, in the UK. At 25, I was writing copydecks for O2, that created 16K variations of letters for O2’s Loyalty Program. This exposed me to a grade of CRM that many brands are not even close to, 20 years on. I was working with Data, Digital & Direct before it became cool again.

Telco’s also introduced me to hard core Acquisition, running fast-paced, retail driven pieces of business. Themes that have stayed with me through my career. In Australia, I also worked with Telstra, Vodafone & FOXTEL.

During my agency years, I also held a management role at a Social Media and Influencer agency – which gave me a deep dive into this world, helping me lead social media teams today.

I’ve found a love for Brand Building, especially creating ideas that gain Earned Media which helped me build the Carnival brand in Australia (cost effectively!).

After 6 years running Marketing and PR for Carnival in Oz, I cemented myself as a proud generalist – as comfortable running large-scale Digital projects, as I am managing a PR crisis.

In 2019, I joined Carnival’s head office in Miami, to lead the global brand and advertising. It has been an ‘eventful’ time, but I’m proud to be part of the team that has maintained customer engagement & returned the brand to 2019 sales levels.

Whilst in the travel industry for the last few years, I am a marketer at heart – and can turn my varied skills and experience to all kinds of products, to create work that cuts-through.

I am open to work Agency and Client side in creative organisations who want an ideas-person as part of their team. Open-minded to all types of brands, as long as they have entrepreneurial spirit, good people and culture.
