My style is candid, collaborative and hands-on. As an “ideas person”, I can turn tiny creative sparks into big thinking and then to practical plans, connecting dots others might miss and enjoying the challenge . Whether the task is creating an optimised marketing team, advising on your annual budgets, a go-to-market launch or writing the strategy for a new brand campaign, I bring broad experience and a readiness to simply get things done.
Most of my senior roles have had responsibilities across Brand, PR ( Media Trained and have managed Crisis Comms), Social, Website, Trade Marketing and media across ATL, all digital and retail channels. I’ve also worked in Loyalty roles and at a senior level in an Influencer agency. Plus, managed production for large-scale TV shoots, TV episodes, photography, illustration, a puppet, water-skiing witches behind a cruise ship in Sydney harbour and a 20ft inflatable spider. I’ve also overseen product development, branding and launches – from private islands (Carnival Cruise) to functional drinks (Fentimans), even a redesign of Tesco Clubcard many moons ago. If I don’t know how to do it, I will have contacts who can.
Over the years I have worked for industries as diverse as Cruise, Government (Safe Sex Campaign), Online Dating, Telco, Subscription TV, Biscuits, Pharmaceutical, and recently Soft Drinks and Mixers.
Some marketers specialise in one sector, but I am a proud generalist. I have found this helps bring fresh ideas to a category – sharing lessons from other places, spaces and experiences. I’m not encumbered by ‘this is how it is normally done’. In fact, I fight against this, as this is how a brand stands out.
